GESHA. Even whispering the name makes a coffee lover’s heart skip a beat. This is not just coffee – it’s an experience often compared to the finest wines and champagnes. And now, this world-class rarity is back in Estonia.

Coffee People first introduced GESHA to Estonia in 2017. That coffee came from El Salvador, grown by Odyssey Coffee. To mark the occasion, we hosted an exclusive rooftop event at Komeet. GESHA was served not in ordinary cups, but in champagne glasses – because that’s the level of reverence it deserves. And alongside it, Nicolas Feuillatte Blanc de Noir champagne. Because GESHA isn’t just a drink – it’s a celebration.
What makes GESHA so special?
Originating from Ethiopia, GESHA is a rare varietal from the Typica coffee tree lineage. It’s delicate and demanding – low-yielding, slow to grow, and requiring extreme care and precision. It’s a risky choice for farmers, but when done right, it produces something truly magical.
Often hailed as the best coffee in the world, GESHA’s flavor profile is complex, floral, and frequently features tropical fruit notes. It’s a coffee that feels more like a fine tea – nuanced, elegant, and alive with story in every sip.

El Manzano Farm & Emilio Lopez
Our latest GESHA comes from the El Manzano farm in the Santa Ana region of El Salvador, run by seventh-generation coffee farmer Emilio Lopez Diaz – the passionate heart behind Odyssey Coffee. Emilio has been cultivating GESHA for over 12 years, refining it into a world-class expression of what coffee can be.

El Manzano is perched at an ideal altitude, on volcanic soil, and employs cutting-edge processing methods to bring out the best of GESHA’s character. The result? An extraordinary coffee with crisp, bright acidity, floral aromatics, layered flavors, and a lingering, unforgettable finish.
How did GESHA find its way back to us?
Last year, Coffee People founders Annar Alas and Heili Politanov traveled to El Salvador to reconnect with Emilio and secure a new harvest of GESHA. This isn’t just a business partnership – it’s a long-standing friendship, shared values, and a mutual desire to bring something truly special to the world.
Thanks to this journey and dedication, we are once again proud to offer GESHA in Estonia. Quantities are extremely limited. Not everyone will get to try it. But those who do – will experience something unforgettable.
The world’s best coffee, delivered to you
GESHA is not meant to be rushed. It asks for your time, your focus, your respect. It’s not likely to become your everyday morning ritual – but it just might become the best coffee moment of your life.
