We ensure the quality and taste of our coffee everywhere by sharing our know-how and providing coffee training for distri-butors and sellers.We conduct training on our product range, and also offer a train-the-trainer programme for distributors’ and sellers’ own trainers and barista training for HoReCa sales managers.

This training is aimed at professional baristas who use espresso machines and want to know more about this amazing drink. We offer training for both beginners and experienced baristas.

Filter coffee training is aimed at both professional baristas and coffee aficionados who want to know more about this stylish pop culture icon. You will learn how to use this coffee maker, which was designed to make the brewing of high-quality coffee available to everyone.

What you'll learn

The duration of the training is 4,5-5 hours and each group consists of three people.
The training covers the following:

  • the basics of coffee and the effect of altitude, climate and coffee cultivars on flavour;
  • knowlage how to prepare perfect cup of: Chemex, V60 and AeroPress
  • the coffee cherry and its processing methods; why it is called a ‘cherry’ and how a cherry pit led to the discovery of coffee;
  • the art of pouring; and ‘coffee bloom’ and ‘tail practice’.

On top of that, you get to enjoy the perfect taste of a Chemex brew. Plus Coffee People certificate.

What you'll learn

A mini-tutorial that is meant for people who would love to know more about coffee, who would love to open their minds and taste buds on another level. During the cupping tour we talk about the basics of coffee. Where it comes from, how it gets its tase etc. We taste a lot of different coffees and take a look behind the scenes of coffee production.

Every training is conducted by one of our professional Coffee People cupping masters and a maximum of two coffee lovers.

The event takes place at Coffee People rostery at Sära tee 9/1, Peetri.

We kindly ask you to arrive 5 minutes before the tour begins, so we can wash our hands and inform you about the health and training requirements.

As times are a little hectic and the coffee roasting times are not set in stone, we cannot guarantee that the roasting process can be shown during the tour.
