At Coffee People Roastery, we’ve tested, tasted, and perfected our favorite summer coffee drinks — plus a bonus drink at the end! These recipes are simple, refreshing, and dangerously addictive. Let’s gooo!
1. CocoBuzz

Picture this: you’re at the beach, toes in the sand, holding a chilled drink that makes your eyes sparkle and your energy soar. CocoBuzz blends natural coconut water with bold espresso and a sweet hint of maple — the perfect morning boost or afternoon pick-me-up.
Ingredients:
- 100 ml coconut water
- ice cubes
- 1 shot espresso (or double for extra buzz)
- whipped cream (optional)
- dash of maple syrup (to taste)
How to make it:
- Fill a glass with ice.
- Pour in the coconut water.
- Slowly add espresso for a beautiful layered effect.
- Top with whipped cream or a drizzle of maple syrup, if desired.
- Stir gently or serve as-is.
2. Citrus Mint Cold Brew

If you haven’t tried mint with cold brew yet, now’s the time! This drink is a summer lifesaver. The brightness of orange and the freshness of mint pair perfectly with the depth of cold brew coffee.
Ingredients:
- 150 ml cold brew
- ice cubes
- fresh mint
- 1 slice of orange
- freshly squeezed orange juice
How to make it:
- Add fresh mint leaves to the glass (gently muddle for stronger flavor).
- Fill a glass with ice.
- Pour in the cold brew.
- Squeeze in fresh orange juice.
- Add the orange slice as garnish.
- Stir and enjoy!
3. Espresso Tonic with a Zing
a classic with a citrusy twist We recommend: Espresso No3 — a vibrant, full-bodied blend that pairs perfectly with tonic
Espresso + tonic = the perfect balance between bitter and refreshing. Add a slice of citrus, and it turns into a summery classic that every coffee lover should try.
Ingredients:
- 1 double espresso
- ice cubes
- 100 ml tonic water
- lemon or grapefruit peel for garnish
How to make it:
- Fill a tall glass with ice.
- Pour in the tonic water.
- Slowly add the espresso to keep the layers distinct.
- Garnish with a citrus peel and serve immediately!
BONUS: Matcha Breeze

Perfect for those who want a caffeine boost without coffee, or just crave something green and refreshing. Coconut water meets earthy matcha and sweet maple syrup for a summer zen experience.
Ingredients:
- 100 ml coconut water
- ice cubes
- 2 g matcha powder
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- small amount of hot water to whisk the matcha
How to make it:
- Whisk the matcha powder with a bit of hot water until smooth and lump-free.
- Fill a glass with ice.
- Add the coconut water and maple syrup.
- Pour the matcha mixture on top.
- Stir and enjoy a green energy boost!
