Luis Alfonso Murillo has been producing coffee all his life, last 25 years of it at the La Casa farm. He has 8 daughters and sons, who all work in the coffee industry. Thanks to producing and selling coffee, Luis Alfonso was able to pay for his children’s education and better their living conditions.
The Murillo family started producing specialty coffee in 2014, when the government of the Antioquia region decided to start supporting young specialty coffee producers.
