Indian Tribe coffee farm. This exceptional coffee is grown in an Indian Reservation where the Inga tribe lives on a collectively owned land. The Ingas are one of the most prosperous native communities in Colombia and are the descendants of the ancient and widely known pre-Hispanic Incas. The close distance to the Amazonas forest helps the Ingas to keep an active exchange with other native tribes in the highly dense jungle around El Putumayo. Coffee People has contributed to their coffee growing by helping to come up with the best methods for harvesting and developing new production methods.
